Stackable Floor Cushions, 2025
This collection reimagines my wooden Body Blocks as soft, oversized stackable floor cushions.
Designed to echo the majlis, a place of gathering and exchange across generations. Stacked, flipped, and recombined, these modular floor cushions create hybrid bodies that stand somewhere between the playful and the ancestral.
Exhibition: Majlis Body Blocks was exhibited at We Design Beirut 2nd Edition as part of a collective exhibition: Totems of the Present & the Absent at Villa Audi, Beirut. Curated by Gatserelia Design.
Material: Made with water repellent, stain resistant fabric and stuffed with discarded shredded foam.
